What The Lord reminded me in my quiet time this morning that He is always with me. I realize that I need to learn to always be aware of His presence so that I can experience His peace, His grace, His comfort, His help, His victory and His joy. Here's some of what the Bible says about God's presence:
Matthew 28:20b(NKJV) and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Hebrews 13:5b(NKJV) For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Romans 8:38-39 (NKJV) For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Psalm 139:7-12 (NKJV) Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? 8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning,
And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10 Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. 11 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall fall[a] on me,” Even the night shall be light about me; 12 Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, But the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light are both alike to You.
What a joy to know that Jesus is always with us. His name is “Emmanuel”, God with us. He has promised that He will never leave us!
We need to learn to be constantly aware of the Lord’s presence wherever we are and whatever we are doing or facing. He is always there to grant us peace, security, comfort and help.
