The word Glory in the Bible comes from the Hebrew word “kabod”. It means “weight” or heaviness. God’s glory represents the weight of all that He is.
When the fullness of God’s glory falls, it is so heavy that we literally will not be able to stand - 2 Chronicles 5:13-14 (NKJV) indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, 14 so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.
I believe God gave our church and I a word this morning regarding His glory:
“I want you to get ready son, I am about to pour out My Spirit in your midst. I will allow the weight of My glory to fall. He who is ready will experience My Glory. Be ready, be hungry, be thirsty. You will move to a new level of My power and My anointing. The weight of My glory will fall. It is unstoppable!”
Let us get ready, let us prepare our hearts, our minds and our spirits for the amazing presence of the glory of God and let us come to Him with expectant hearts.
